If your teacher requires a Works Cited page for a writing assignment, fear not! Citations may be tricky, but there are many resources to help you.

If you’re using an online database to find sources, many of those provide citations for you. On Gale databases, look for “Tools” and then “Citation Tools.” This lets you choose the format of the citation you need. Databases try to create these citations using the information available to them and the most current formatting, but occasionally they aren’t correct. If you plan to use a database citation creator, please double check it against formatting guidelines.
