Led by Harley history teacher Doug Gilbert, this camp will emphasize biking fun and safety, but also include stories of Rochester\u2019s fascinating past. We will use the Erie Canal Towpath, the Genesee River Trail, and other area trails to explore local historic sites and enjoy the region\u2019s natural beauty. Led by Harley history teacher Doug Gilbert, this camp will emphasize biking fun and safety, but also include stories of Rochester\u2019s fascinating past. Campers will need to bring their own fully functional bike, which will be kept at Harley for the week, a water bottle, snack, lunch, and helmet. Note: This is not an introduction to cycling. It is for experienced cyclists. In past years, some campers have struggled to keep up with the pace and distance of a 20\u201330 mile daily ride.
