Reflection: My time at Harley has been full of opportunities and relationships I had never dreamed of having. The level of trust and respect I have for both teachers and students at Harley goes a long way in showing how accepting Harley is, not just as a school but rather as a community. I feel like I am able to be myself in every aspect of Harley, with the after-school programs, electives, clubs, and sports. I have (and still am) learned how to manage my time and workflow, push through procrastination and self-doubt and apply myself both socially and academically.
Fun fact: I prefer oatmeal raisin cookies in the winter, but a chocolate chip in the summer.
Plans post-Harley: Originally I planned to go to culinary school in pursuit of being a chef, but after conversations with both my parents and Mrs. Edlehart, I decided to keep cooking as a hobby rather than a career, and pursue computer science.
