During my three years at The Harley School, I have been involved in varsity track and many community service activities.\u00a0<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After school, I work at Harley\u2019s Nursery program, middle school extended day program and Horizons on the weekends. Working at these three programs has given me a jump start on my future career, and I am so thankful I was given these opportunities. Even though the kids are so young they teach me new things everyday and I wonder, am I the one teaching them, or are they the ones teaching me. Working with them has definitely been entertaining and there’s never a dull moment. Thank you Dr. Smith, Sarah Murphy, Mr. Mitchell, Ms. Beth, Mr. Wayne and to all the kids that I have worked with for making such a memorable experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Juggling school, work and family isn\u2019t always easy, but it has taught me about perseverance and keeping a positive attitude. There were many times I found myself giving up but then reminded myself how incredibly lucky I have been to have such an amazing educational experience where I can be who I am without judgement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Thank you Dr. Schara and Dr. Vinton for bringing out the best in me. I started off as a \u201cdeer in the headlights\u201d after coming to Harley but they somehow helped me find my confidence to believe in myself.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After High School, I plan to study Childhood Education and become a teacher.\u00a0<\/p>\n
