I began my journey at Harley at the age of 3 in Nursery Yellow and in what felt like no time, I was already in middle school. In middle school, I had numerous mental health difficulties that, with help from my parents and teachers, I was eventually able to overcome, finishing eighth grade on a high note. In high school, after overcoming a difficult freshman year, I have matured greatly and I continue to become increasingly independent in all facets of life.
Thanks to the consistent support from my teachers and parents, I was able to overcome the many challenges I was faced with, discovering both my passions and myself. As a senior, I can say that I have followed Harley’s motto “become what thou art” and I feel well prepared for a future in medicine.
