Just before February Break, the annual Science Fair is held in the Gallery and Commons. The fourth graders shared their initial hypotheses for their experiments modeled after whichever famous scientist/innovator they each studied in the fall. They gathered feedback on their design proposals and will use the month of March to conduct their experiments in the Project Space of the Commons. For the fifth and sixth grade students, they shared the final results of their individual experiments. The classrooms and BCCE were buzzing with excited questions, sharing, and admiration. The parents and students made the rounds to everyone’s display! Congratulations to the parents, the fourth grade teachers, Sarah Joy and Christina Kerr, and 5/6 grade science teacher, Anneke Nordmark, for shepherding these budding scientists through the scientific method and joys/trials of experimentation!
